Ministry to Veterans
Cross + Bars' mission is to teach and preach the Word of God in Virginia jails and juvenile detention centers. This inmate shares his testimony of how he came to jail after serving in Afghanistan, and how his life has been transformed by Christ, through the ministry of Cross + Bars. We rejoice in what God is doing in this veteran's life!
Providing Compassionate Counseling
Cross + Bars provides extensive Christian counseling to assist inmates who are struggling with life issues or going through crises in their lives. It is a joy to see Christ at work in their lives despite the crisis, as in the case of this inmate, and to see lives transformed through the renewal of their minds, as described in Romans 12:1-2.
